Jeremy Harrison

Jeremy is a leading strategic advisor with 25 years’ experience helping Ministers, Boards and Executive teams navigate major infrastructure programs through a "systems-of-systems" approach to risk, assurance, and governance. Currently supporting the Government Internal Audit Agency, he specialises in activating opportunities and overcoming systemic barriers in highly complex environments.

Jeremy served as Interim Development & Assurance Director at Great British Nuclear in 2023-24, shaping operating models for Small Modular Reactor programs and establishing risk and audit functions. From 2018 to 2025 Jeremy was Group Director of Risk & Assurance at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, part of the post Magnox Inquiry reset. He has wide experience of UK rail at HS2 and Network Rail. 

Jeremy represented the UK in developing ISO 31000. He teaches postgraduate masterclasses at Saïd Business School (University of Oxford) and UCL. He has also advised multiple government departments, most recently the Department for Education’s £2bn schools rebuilding programme.
